Charlie Duke's family photo

Charlie Duke left a photograph of his wife and two sons face-up in the lunar dust, took a picture of it, and walked away.

• The photograph is still there to be seen — Charlie Duke assumes it bleached white years ago, since the site reaches about 120 °C in daylight, but nothing has been able to look.

How the map draws it

Drawn as a shrink-wrapped family snapshot lying in the dust — the kind of thing, not this exact one · the print is drawn blank. The photograph on it is the Duke family's and this map does not reproduce it.
