Luke Skywalker's lightsaber

The lightsaber prop from Return of the Jedi spent fifteen days in orbit sealed in foam, and never once came out of its box.

Often said

• The lightsaber is in space — it flew up and back on STS-120 in October 2007, stowed where no astronaut could reach it, and was handed back to Lucasfilm.

How the map draws it

Drawn as the Graflex 3-cell flash handle the prop was built on — the kind of thing, not this exact one · this is the camera part the prop was built from, not the prop: the hilt's design is not ours to draw.
